Do I need a credit card to use the free plan?
No. Sign up with email and you're in. We never ask for a credit card unless you choose to upgrade.
What's the catch?
There isn't one, AI features (voice, receipt scanner, chat, insights) have a monthly quota so we can sustain the cost of running the AI. If you hit the cap and want more, you can upgrade to Lite, Pro, or Premium. Manual entries are always free, with no limit.
Does the free plan include the AI receipt scanner?
Yes. The free receipt scanner app quota lets you scan a meaningful number of receipts per month, plenty for most freelancers, travelers, and personal users. Heavy receipt-scanning workflows (small businesses, accountants) usually move to a paid plan.
Is there a free expense tracking app for small businesses?
Tapsayve's free plan works for solo founders and very small businesses. For shared workspaces, settlement splits, and higher AI quotas, the Lite, Pro, or Premium plans are sized to small-team workflows.
