Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tapsayve, an AI expense management application provided by Tapsayve ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

If you are using Tapsayve on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.

2. The service

Tapsayve lets you log expenses by voice, scan receipts with AI, manage categories, share workspaces, and export tax-ready bundles. Features evolve and we may add, change, or remove features over time with reasonable notice.

The service is provided across web (tapsayve.com), iOS, and Android. Availability and feature parity may differ by platform.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when signing up and must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service; (c) upload content you don't have rights to; (d) probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities except under a published responsible-disclosure process.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Starter (Free) plan provides manual entries forever plus monthly quotas for voice recordings, receipt scans, AI chats, and AI insights. Paid plans (Lite, Pro, Premium) raise these quotas.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel from the in-app subscription manager or your app-store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

6. AI-generated output

Tapsayve uses AI to transcribe voice, extract data from receipts, and generate categorizations and insights. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate, you are responsible for reviewing and correcting any entry before relying on it for taxes, accounting, or other consequential purposes.

Tapsayve is not a tax advisor, accountant, or financial advisor. Exports are a convenience, not professional advice.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the expense data, voice recordings, and receipt images you upload. You grant Tapsayve a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service (e.g., transcription, extraction, storage, syncing, exports).

We do not use your content to train Tapsayve's own AI models without separate, explicit opt-in.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at /privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Termination

You can stop using Tapsayve and delete your account at any time from in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

On termination, your access ends and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tapsayve disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that AI output, exports, or analytics are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

11. Refunds

All amounts paid for Tapsayve subscriptions are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product or law evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Tapsayve's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in that location, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
